The year’s conference is organised by IQM Quantum Computers, in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Munich Quantum Valley.

The conference is expected to feature an exciting line-up of keynotes, scientific sessions, networking, excursions, and many other activities. In addition, attendees will also have an opportunity to interact with exhibitors and learn about the latest innovations.

Right from the beginning, we wanted to create a reoccurring event for the superconducting qubits and algorithms community to engage, collaborate and accelerate innovation. This is why it is now so important and I’m personally excited to see SQA happen again in 2023,” said committee chair for the conference, Professor Mikko Möttönen, Chief Scientist and Co-founder at IQM and Professor of Quantum Technology at Aalto University and VTT.

Announcing the 2023 SQA location, a member of the organising committee, Dr. Stefan Seegerer, Quantum Education Manager at IQM said:

We are happy to partner with TUM and Munich Quantum Valley and the vibrant German quantum ecosystem to bring the superconducting qubit and algorithms community together again. We will make the call for participation soon.”

The maiden edition of the conference in Finland was a huge success with over 250 international experts, researchers, and exhibitors attending. You can watch the keynotes and sessions here: SQA YouTube channel.

SQA is an international conference for the global community, which is also highlighted by the new geographical location, Munich, and its lively quantum ecosystem,” concluded Prof. Möttönen.
